Only using one kind of flower is a new challenge we haven't really had before... Victoria wanted the black callas only so we had a little brainstorming to do. We tried a few vases and ended up deciding on the tall "champagne" type vase- and added a bit of lily grass to add a different element without taking from the callas... I thought it turned out quite nice!

This wedding luncheon had some great ideas that were very easy and fun. The photos were hung from a twine using clothes pins. We secured 3M hooks to help us hang the line which turned out very cute!

The goal was a family barbecue feel- wouldn't we all love this much thought at all of our family dinners?!

the candles really made the blue Mason jars look great!

Thanks to the great people who helped us find all of our blue Mason Jars- who knew Logan would have so many blue antique jars?! This cute lady and her husband were working in their antique shop when I was searching and she offered to sell me all that she had- I must have either looked very desperate or like I was going to do some serious bottling of fruit...either way it was fun.

These photos don't do justice to the amazing details of Cole and Jessica's wedding! Jessica (from Jessica's Photography) and Cole had every little detail planned out and had so many fun ideas! Cole and Jessica refinished all of the furniture and gathered the vases... I didn't count but I would guess at least 100!

We had so much fun with Jenny and her mom Mary Kaye! They were so easy going and just let us do whatever we wanted for flowers, I thought it turned out beautifully!

Each chair had a fan (a great addition for an outside ceremony) and a cone of rose petals so that all of the guests could throw them when MR. & MRS. walked down the aisle together! I can't wait to see the photos!

After the luncheon, the linens were changed to black, a nice touch, I thought it made the room look more elegant-

After the ceremony, the flower balls were moved inside to add to the room decor

During the reception, the DJ was out on the patio, the chandelier lit up the pergola and it turned out really beautiful!

Bridal Showcase and Riter Mansion Table tops...

Here are some pictures from the Bridal Showcase that was held at the end of March at Castle Manor. I worked with Arlette from the Riter Mansion to decorate the booth. The theme was "Old Hollywood". The colors turned out quite beautifully..

A different version of "French Kiss"

This was a new style that we decided on, I used the milk glass from my Grandma's old glass. We used hydrangeas, ranunculus, lisianthus, dahlias and some anemones.

We did this table again, it was so fun...a little bit of spring

We changed up the black in this one, we usually use balls that are spray painted but thought this gave it a more feminine look...

So my sister Karly got married! We had her reception at the Riter Mansion in Logan, it turned out perfect! Here are a few pictures of the night before and the reception, enjoy!

Here's a look at the wedding flowers...

the little girls had fake flowers so they would last longer...

The bridesmaid bouquets were used to brighten the room when not needed to walk down the aisle...

The arch was made by the Bride's Brother-in-Law, he did a very good job!

So, Susie and I got together with the Riter Mansion owner, Arlette and Megan, who works there, and created some table tops for a bridal magazine. Here are a few pictures of what we came up with...

The Summers Wedding

Rachel and Fred had a luncheon at the Coppermill Restaurant with 16 tables, a book table and a head table with different decor... We loved the look of these submerged calla lilies!

This was the other centerpiece that alternated with the submerged calla lilies...tulips (one of my favorite flowers!)

These bouquets were at the book table and there was a large picture of the couple standing next to them.

These were the centerpieces at the Riter Mansion. The centerpieces were done in a Trifle Bowl and included white roses, white kale, hydrangeas, asiatic lilies, calla lilies and salal greenery.

Flower balls made from white carnations. I loved the look of these and people couldn't believe that they were real flowers!

Kristin & Dax's {Brown, white and green} Wedding

I LOVED Kristin's bouquet!

I used some different flowers which added a lot! This bouquet has brown Ti leaves, cymbidium orchids, calla lilies, akito roses, freesia, fern curls, rannunculus, white Kale, trachilium, South African cape.

Kristin is one of the nicest people I have ever met and had so much going on this week...Graduation from Nursing School (*which alone could kill a girl off*), IV therapy class and a Wedding to boot... with all that, she was amazingly happy and looked VERY beautiful. What a great family she has too!

Dahlias, roses, fern curls and tulips with ti leaves, fall leaves and some seeded eucalyptus:

This arrangement is one that we did for the Bridal Faire at Utah State University a few weeks ago...it has white and yellow calla lilies, billy balls, freesia, ti leaves, yellow iris flowers, spray roses and hydrangeas. I spray painted balls that were on my neighbor's tree black because the colors were yellow, black and white.

More Pictures of Ashley and Thad's Reception

This is a shot overlooking the backyard so you can see the setup of Ashley & Thad's reception. It helps you see what the flowers actually added, Lots of Red!!

These lined the path to lead people in the right direction. Candles didn't stay lit, just added the effect...the wind was so crazy all night!

This is the entrance with the 2 large arrangements...

This is the book table where Ashley's friends helped to put the photo booth pictures into her book.

These were the arrangements that we put on every third fence post, they helped tie in the black, red roses and the buckle. I think they helped add a little something...

If you look closely, you can see the vases with lights that we had hanging in the trees. also on the back walkway, we had vases with black sand and red Mokara orchid stems.

This is a better view of the center where all of the refreshments were, not as blurry as the previous post.

This is the centerpiece with the runners. I think that they were so beautiful on the tables. They even withstood the winds!

Ashley had 3 high tables, and we did arrangements that were just a small version of the tall ones for the other tables. Ashley's flowers were beautiful!

If you haven't seen the renovation of the Temple grounds in Logan, here is something to look forward too...

Ashley made the best of the situation and joined in the fun!

There were two of these arrangements when you walked into the reception

This has to be my favorite arch that I have ever done (actually Nicole and Susie did the flowers). Ashley didn't want the "droopy" look and we couldn't really find any pictures for what she wanted. So we decided to do a band of roses that was simple but a big statement! I think it turned out beautiful!!! We also were able to hang a plexiglass box of candles that were lit for the wedding reception, it looked really elegant!

This isn't the best picture in the world, but it shows what Ashley's centerpieces looked like...

This is under the pavilion, we lit it with the Italian style lights. You can also see the plexiglass boxes that were hung under the pavilion. We couldn't keep them lit because of the dang wind that night. They looked cool none the less! You can also see on the fence, there were arrangements that were wrapped like Ashley's bouquet and had the same buckle on them to tie everything together.

Sorry about the blurry picture, but this gives an idea of what the center looked like where her food was served.

Under the arbor that people walked in under... the flowers are orchids and they were also strung on fishing line behind the pavilion to provide a curtain behind the cake and picture tables.

I have more pictures on another camera, so when they are available, I will update it better! The wedding reception was amazing!!

Heejung and Tyler's Wedding

These were the stands at the Old Rock Church, we wanted to spread the flowers out around the Church for the wedding ceremony

This is a view of the entrance to the ceremony. We used the large arrangement on the picture table at the luncheon.

We also put the vases up the stairs where Heejung walked down. The flowers in the hanging vases also doubled for the centerpieces at the luncheon.

This is the tent in the backyard with all the tables and centerpieces setup. We added the Lanterns to make it a little more decorated, it helped add the colors throughout the yard along with the chair ties.

Since the luncheon was in the heat of the day, we made fans for the guests to use if they wanted. I think that they turned out cute and were great party favors too.

This wedding was Beautiful! I loved all of the flowers, they were so fun to do and there were a TON of them! Gentry had a lot of fun things in mind and we were able to make it all work. Enjoy! There are some hanging flower boxes (my personal favorite) and they were awesome, I loved how they turned out.

Two of these were hanging inside the tent with tons of white paper lanterns in between

This is the wristlet that we did for the sisters and bridesmaids, after the flower serves it's purpose, you can cut the section holding the flower off and have a bracelet, kind of fun!

There were 8 square boxes that were hanging around the backyard, all with different designs.

This was in the arch where the bridal party stood.

These balls were hanging right under the arch/bench where the bridal party stood to greet guests.

These boxes were for the luncheon which turned out so cute, tons of pink, black and lime green!

There were two boxes that were hanging right as the guests walked into the reception on either side of an arch, these were my favorite! The boxes are 1 foot across and 2 feet long, sooo cute!

Jill and her sweet ride! Jill's bouquet was very unique! I made a "lopsided" bouquet... a combination of cascading and a clutch bouquet. We had a few types of orchids to work with which helped it out. Jill even knew how "Type A" I am, but I think it turned out fabulous!

I wanted to try and figure out how to put texture on some of the pictures that I have taken, here's a look at what I was able to do. I got some of the textures from Hamblin Photography's website, it was great because there were instructions that were included with the textures!! The first 2 pictures are the same one, it's amazing how different color can look.

Chantell and Joel are so cute together! I have known Chantell forever! I think that she makes one of the most beautiful brides!! I love the bouquet, it was really fun to design. These photos aren't edited, so some of the color may not be "real" until a bit later when I can make a few fixes. I just wanted to share a few... Here's the reception... I love the flower balls! We also strung crystals and flowers with petals and put them on the crown molding. We had a section on all of the edges of the room with the hanging flower petals and crystals. It was a lot of work but made the room look great. It looked really cute above her wedding cake. Her colors were red, brown and cream.

This is a wedding that we did in December. There were Black Baccarat and Freedom Roses for this one. In the flower balls that we did, we added carnations (I know, carnations...) to give it texture. The bride liked the peony look, but not the price so we added the carnations to give it the "peony look"

So the arrangement in the brown box was for my Grandma (hospital visit number 2 in a month!). The flower ball (one of my favorite things!) is for Viv and Kevin Dyslin's wedding. We are decorating with a few shades of red. Although carnations aren't usually my favorite flower, they add a lot of texture to the flower ball and I'm now a fan!

These are some flower arrangements that I've made the last few weeks. The bouquet with the sunflowers was for Natalie King Talbot, it was really fun to use some fun colors and lots of variety of flowers. The other arrangements have some cymbidium orchids (a bouquet and submerged stem). Some hydrangeas (one of my favorite flowers and red roses with a bit of bear grass.

Here's a few pictures of the trees, the pictures were a bit blurry, but no problem you can still see how great they turned out!

Jena wanted to decorate Rylie's chair...Rylie was the best flower girl ever!! We wanted her to ride up the aisle in style and I think Rylie approved of her new "RIDE". I wanted to let her have the petals and flowers but not to have to hold them, she did fabulous! Here's the front and back view.

We wanted to make something fun for the guests to help Rylie throw the petals, so we came up with these packets of petals with the pink and brown note that said "Rylie would love for you to help toss the petals for Jena". We placed the packets on the chairs along the aisle. It was fun and added a bit of color to the aisle.
